Tim Babbage, Treasurer
Tim has worked in the hotel industry as an auditor and controller, and then in the tech industry as a facilities manager. Since his retirement, he has been assisting two churches as their business manager. Extremely knowledgeable about the issues and needs of St. Augustine Church and its buildings, Tim has been essential in working with engineers and contractors for previous repairs and renovations, and he continues his dedication to the preservation of this historic property.
Daniel J. DiNardo
Dan recently retired from a career in public accounting, with a particular practice focus on services to building contractors in the Philadelphia construction industry. He now operates a tax preparation service for individuals in the Greater Philadelphia area. Dan earned a B.S. in accounting and a certificate in forensic accounting, both from LaSalle University, followed by an MBA from Widener University. Dan has an interest in architectural preservation, and his experience with construction contractors is a strong asset to the St. Augustine Heritage Foundation.
Lou Ferrero
Lou earned an electrical engineering degree from Drexel University and is a retired engineer from PECO Nuclear. He was past president of the American Catholic Historical Society and past president of the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute. Lou offers a wealth of experience in leadership roles with multiple small nonprofit organizations. He brings a keen interest and unique expertise in the history of Philadelphia and its churches—especially those in Old City—and, particularly, as a lifelong parishioner of the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and Shrine of Saint Katharine Drexel.
Fr. Paul Galetto, O.S.A.
Father Paul is a member of the Order of Saint Augustine of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova. He was named administrator of St. Augustine Parish in July 2024, which is in addition to his position as pastor of St. Paul Parish in South Philadelphia. Most of his ministry has been spent in education: St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ), St. Rita High School (Chicago, IL), and Villanova University. Fr. Paul has also worked in the missions in Peru, Nigeria, and South Africa. After a heart transplant in 2019, he served as a hospital chaplain at the University of Chicago and then at the University of Pennsylvania. His educational background includes Bucknell University, Villanova University (B.A. and M.A.), The Gregorian University in Rome, Italy (STB), and The Catholic University of America (Ph.D.) in Washington, D.C.
Timothy Gallagher
Tim is the founder and owner of eVOLUTe Performance and Leadership Coaching, providing leadership development coaching for the government and private sector. Earlier career experiences include law enforcement in New Jersey and in the nuclear industry with PSE&G. He earned a B.A. in criminal justice from The College of New Jersey and an M.A. in human resources training and development from Seton Hall University. Tim is an active member of St. Augustine Parish and is assisting the parish administrator in developing a strong financial base consistent with its compelling mission. His strong leadership skills support his commitment to preserving St. Augustine Church for generations to come.
Beverly Gordon
Beverly is Executive Director of Growth and Development at Malvern Preparatory School, an Augustinian all-boys private 6-12 school located in suburban Philadelphia. As the school’s chief learning officer, she oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of professional learning and innovation for faculty and staff. Beverly provides a forward-thinking and personalized approach to the growth and development of individuals, teams, and the overall organization. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in education in the highly selective Chief Learning Officer program at the University of Pennsylvania. Beverly is committed to the Augustinian community and the preservation of its history.
Jeffrey LaMonica
Jeffrey is Professor of History at Delaware County Community College in Media, Pa., and he also coordinates the college’s Global Studies Program. The Philadelphia resident earned degrees in history and global studies from LaSalle University and Villanova University, as well as a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Pennsylvania. His passion for history and preservation led him to contribute his expertise to the St. Augustine Heritage Foundation. Only months into its existence, the Foundation introduced a one-day history fair through Jeffrey’s leadership and coordination and is expecting to continue the event annually.
Rene Quinlan, Secretary
Rene has been a member of St. Augustine Parish since 2015 and served on its Capital Campaign Committee from 2017-2024. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and worked with a world-renowned architecture firm in New York City before receiving a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Rene currently practices construction litigation with a mid-size regional law firm.
Kathy Rigby, President
Kathy brings considerable expertise in non-profit staff functions and governance on non-profit boards to the St. Augustine Heritage Foundation, including program development, proposal writing, and grants management; fiscal oversight; staff development; strategic planning; and problem-solving. She co-chaired the St. Augustine Parish Capital Campaign for its seven-year duration, and she assisted in creating and developing the St. Augustine Heritage Foundation formed at the conclusion of the successful fundraising endeavor. Kathy is now retired from the education sector, having worked as Director of Special Projects for more than 28 years at the Gloucester County Special Services School District in New Jersey. Throughout her career, she developed, administered, and managed several highly successful discretionary grant and fee-based educational programs. Kathy earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Rutgers University.
